Longstaff and Shehadeh win Race to Georgia qualifier at Ajman
Joseph Longstaff (6) and Eric Shehadeh (12) won their respective Divisions in the Race to Georgia qualifying round at Al Zorah Golf Club, Ajman.
Longstaff, representing Abu Dhabi Golf Club, had 36 points with the equivalent of a gross 77, to win Division A by just one point ahead of James Scallon (4).
Daniel Andrews came third with 31 points and qualifies from Division A along with Longstaff for the Regional Final as he was present at the Prize Presentation – according to the terms and conditions of the tournament.
The qualifying rounds are open to all amateur golfers; men, women, as well as a junior division, with a maximum handicap allowance of 24 for men and 36 for women.
